This class provides a compassionate, non- competitive environment for beginners or those seeking a gentle practice to balance out a busy lifestyle. Yoga asanas (postures) are combined with mindful movement using breathing techniques. Postures are taught while addressing proper alignment, breathing and modifications. Like thousands before, you will find that practicing yoga in a hot room cre- ates a satisfying feeling of achievement. Enjoy!

Fitness Focus

This class provides a compassionate, non-competitive environment that’s
welcoming to all. Suitable for beginner yoga participants or those members seeking a gentle practice. Bring together your body, mind and spirit, and yoga asanas (postures) are combined with mindful movement using yoga breathing techniques.  You can use this class as an orientation to the ORC Hot Yoga classes or enjoy an opportunity to experience a gentle yoga class.  A gentle yoga approach has been found to be an important compliment in balancing activities or high stress lifestyles and has been found to reverse lifestyle disorders. 


Postures will be taught while addressing proper alignment, breathing and modifications.  Like thousands before you, you will find that practicing yoga in the hot room creates a satisfying feeling of achievement.  Enjoy the sweat! It is doing you so much good on many different levels!
