The cORCscrew Restaurant at the Ontario Racquet club is seeking highly motivated and professional servers to join our restaurant and banquet service team. These are full-time and part-time positions for someone who is seeking an opportunity to work in an exciting club environment. Come grow with us as we expand our Banquet and Restaurant Facilities!
As a member of the Front of House team, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Being able to work in a team environment • Greeting members, suggest features, guiding members through menu selection and taking orders • Attending to members' needs throughout the meal, ensuring satisfaction and promoting up selling and repeat business • Providing optimum member satisfaction and service • Excellent use of your time management skills and attention to detail • Ensuring your enthusiasm, infectious energy and ability spill onto other staff and our members
Successful applicants will have the minimum qualifications : • Previous experience in a comparable restaurant • High school diploma or equivalent • Smart Serve Certification • Available to work all restaurant operating hours • Proficient in English verbal and written communication • Knowledge of personal computer or ability to acquire appropriate-level skill at computer use and restaurant software • Must have problem solving skills, be self-motivated and organized • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure • Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
The Ontario Racquet club is seeking highly motivated and skilled professionals to join our Member Services team. This is a full or part time position for someone who is seeking an opportunity to join us.
The Member Services team is focused on providing efficient service and creating memorable experiences by making emotional connections with all of our club members and guests. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the overall experience of our members and be responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment members arrive at the club until they leave. The successful candidate must have a friendly and welcoming attitude with everyone.
In this role, responsibilities will also include assisting members with their inquiries, book court times, registering members for programs and posting charges to member accounts. This is the ideal position for someone who has a passion for member service, values problem resolution, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
Candidate must have a positive attitude and be member oriented. They must possess a passion for providing legendary customer service. As well the position requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Successful candidates be able to work flexible schedule including holidays and weekends and evenings. Familiarity with club environment is preferred.
