Ask an ORC Personal Trainer you questions???

I want to start working out in a gym but I don't know what to do?

Answer from Nicole Crewe, Fitness and Sports Performance Director at the ORC

Joining a gym can be a scary thing: Where do I join? Do I get a Trainer? Will I look stupid? I don't want to pass out!

It's normal to be afraid of a gym; especially for the first time.  At the ORC, we are a Club - not a GYM!  A club will help you feel welcome and safe.  We are here to teach you how to achieve your goals for fitness and health.  When you join ORC or refer a family member of friend, the Fitness Department will ensure you are perfectly at ease.  New members receive a Fitness Orientation for 1 hour with a Trainer.  You will walk away with a workout, fitness goals, and a working knowledge of the facilities.  Then, the Nutritionist will contact you for your free Nutritional Evaluation (for 30 minutes).  Finally, your Trainer who has now been assigned to you will follow up with your progress, questions and concerns for your first year at ORC.  There will be a free 20 minute training session and meeting about your goals and progress.

Any questions when you are in the Fitness Centre, Trainers are available to help you with your workout.

Please contact me at any time and I will help you find the results you are looking for in a healthier you!
