New* Adult Fit Factor: Rating 1 - 5Fitness factor is simply a general reflection of the program's intensity level, repetition of movement, and overall caloric burn through participation. Each program has a corresponding Fit Factor, and is another great way to help you to select the program of your choice.Ratings from 1 (Low level, instructional, low challenge of speed and movement, slight perspiration, regular breathing) to 5 (challenge of speed of reaction, movement, recovery, high volume drill or high intensity play, hear yourself breathing, lots of perspiration) Adult Levels of Play: Players can receive a complimentary assessment from one of our pros or self-assess one’s playing ability by using the rating system below. 1.0 - Never played: Enthusiastic but has never held a racquet 2.0 - Beginner: May have had lessons and is working at keeping the ball in play 2.5 – High Beginner: Can keep the ball in play and is working on keeping score and playing games 3.0 - Low Intermediate: Can play singles and doubles and needs more consistency 3.5 - Intermediate: Can be consistent yet needs to develop more depth and precision 4.0 – High Intermediate: Has developed strokes yet needs to develop more tactics and power 4.5 – Club advanced: Has mastered precision and power and needs to develop more strategy 5.0 + Provincial Advanced: Has mastered precision, power, tactics and strategy and is playing open tournaments Types of Adult ProgramsProgram Names:> Instant Tennis 1.0-1.5 > Stroke of the Week 2.0-3.0 > Feeding Frenzy 2.5-4.0 Desired Outcome: Learn & Improve
