Introducing Ian Power!

The Ontario Racquet Club is proud to announce the arrival of Ian Power as our new “Head Squash Professional”.

To most of us Ian needs no introduction.  His family name is synonymous with high level squash throughout Canada and the World.  Ian has been ranked inside the top 100 in the world from 2001-2007, having won 2 PSA titles during that time. He was also ranked in the top ten in Canada for 10 years, playing on the national Team for 5 consecutive years.  In 2003 Ian won a gold medal at the Pan American Games.

Not only is Ian a successful squash player , he is also a certified level two coach and has been head Pro and director of the highly esteemed Power Squash Academy for the last five years.   This is in addition to being a pro at R.C.Y.C. and most recently a pro at the Granite Club.  His experience both as a player and a pro will be a huge benefit to the squash program and in particular, the junior program at ORC.

Ian joins ORC squash professionals Khayal Khan and Maia Kirk, in helping provide best in class programming and activities for ORC members.
