Diets don’t work: Find out what does…

Krista Cumming, RHN can help you understand why it is more difficult to lose weight as we mature. You will learn the basics of nutrition, how to boost metabolism, and how important it is to maintain blood sugar levels as a part of a weight loss strategy. This interactive approach is not a diet but teaches you about a lifestyle that includes healthy, nutritious foods which support wellness and weight control.

Teen Nutrition

A new program designed specifically for teens to get them started on healthy eating patterns. Teenagers have high demands placed on their bodies, therefore good eating habits and healthy food choices are especially important for this age group. The program will be fun, educational and specific to what teens and their parents would like to learn. Topics include: the basics of nutrition, the connection between what they eat and how it affects their bodies (acne, mood, healthy hair…), the best fast foods, eating disorders, and simple recipes for good health. The importance of the link between good nutrition and academic & sporting performance will also be covered. So contact our Nutritionist to find out how you can get started!

This program is run by Krista Cumming RNCP, ORC’s very own Nutritionist. Ext. 631 or kcumming@ontarioracquetclub.com
